On behalf of Dubuque County Early Childhood (DCEC) and the Kids Expo-Dubuque County Planning Team, we would like to THANK YOU for your continued support of Kids Expo-Dubuque County. Your support allows us to bring together a variety of organizations and businesses that provide services and programs for area children and families.
Kids Expo, a premier family fun and resource fair, will take place on Saturday, October 7, 2023, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Grand River Center in Dubuque. Admission to the event and activities are FREE, thanks to the generosity of local sponsors.
Families will visit over 50 booths to learn more about resources in the community and pick up information and giveaways. Exhibitors will include recreational opportunities, educational services, health care services, social service groups, family-friendly businesses, and many more.
Quality fun for families is a highlight of Kids Expo–Dubuque County. Throughout the day, the event will feature family crafts, games, and stage entertainment. Activities will include balloon artists, musical performances, dance demonstrations, make-and-takes, and so much more. The expo will include a reading corner, and a map of exhibitors available at the door.
Kids Expo–Dubuque County will offer health services for children, including child ID kit, pediatric immunizations, flu shots, oral health screenings, lead testing, vision checks, and developmental screenings. Immunizations require an advance appointment through the Visiting Nurse Association at 556-6200.
Each family also will take home a newly-released, free Family Resource Guide, which is a comprehensive reference book with additional services and activities available for children/youth in the tri-state area. This guide is a sought-after resource, and it can be used frequently as families grow.

This year’s event is held through the continued work of a local planning team, who are committed to healthy and successful youth. It also is supported solely through contributions from area business and nonprofit sponsors.
